John's been a friend of mine and Maj's for a couple of years now. He's a recent Ph.D. from McGill University in... uh... audio recording and reproduction. Or something. He does Science with microphones and speakers and uses DSPs to trick them into doing things they're not supposed to.
We met him through Cato and Tobias, and he started coming to our Soupers at our old apartment. He's an international traveler, a Burning Man participant, and a very funny person all the way around.
