I'm in full-scale Net promoter mode, trying to make sure that the people who need to know about the CC Salon Toronto get the word in time.
It's interesting to think about how many different kinds of people CC matters to: software developers, Web designers, bloggers, musicians, writers, artists, photographers, Free Software advocates, dot dot dot. Trying to get word to them all is... hard.
But I've added a Craigslist posting for CC Salon Toronto, as well as an Upcoming.org event. I pinged Neil Leyton, the label director for fading ways music, a Toronto-based label that makes CC-licensed music by their artists available for free download and sharing. And I've sent an email to the GTAbloggers mailing list.
And Eventful.com... and digg.com.
Hopefully this event will go off. I'm pretty psyched on the whole idea, and I think it'll make our stay in Toronto pretty fun.
<nettime> at SAT for Mutek
The Upgrade is going to be hosting the first <nettime> meeting on North American Soil as a kickoff for Mutek. Man... nettime! Dietertown.
raiders of the lost art
Sam Phillips was a total rocker and found some old copies of the Lost Software I thought I'd never have again. See:

I think this, plus a Freenetdeb, makes me now 404-free on the site.
Gah!
The baby rolled off the bed this afternoon and bumped her head. Poor little thing! She's doing fine, though.
Flickr
Man, I just uploaded a ton of pictures of the baby to Flickr. I don't know why, but I've been putting off doing uploads lately. I have to take more pictures or the baby's gonna be in college and I won't have a full record of her growth.
