So, five years after the September 11, 2001 attacks, it seems like everyone has a story to tell or an impression to share. My own 9/11 story is pretty good but it's kind of, uh, uncomplimentary. I was at pretty loose ends at the time. I moved out of San Francisco to nowhere in particular on September 15, 2001, so the history of the 21st century and my personal history are kind of intertwined in my head.
I'd rather take the safe bet and give a link to to the September 11, 2001 wiki. It's a project started by Wikipedia soon after the attacks, as a place to memorialize the 2996 people who died in the World Trade Center attacks. It's an impressive and somber site, not as well tended as it should be.
