I've got a lot to talk about lately, since we're now in New York City for the LinuxWorld OpenSolutions Summit. But I wanted to note that AOL now supports OpenID, which is just incredible. With the announcement of idproxy last month, this makes two of the four big identity silos (Yahoo, AOL, Microsoft Passport, Google) participants in the OpenID network. Since MS announced support for OpenID in CardSpace, I think it won't be long before Live IDs are available as OpenIDs. Now, it's just Google that's holding out -- I'll avoid editorializing on Google's poor record supporting open standards.
