We had a great day on Sunday at the house of my brother Andy and sister-in-law Pam. They threw a pumpkin-carving party at their house in Mountain View. Between Amita June, their two daughters, Elena and Tessa, and with their friends and Andy and Pam's friends, we must have had 25 kids under five running around in their backyard.
It was really good to see my old friend Chris Steskal and his wife Lisa Park and their daughter Francis and son Duncan. They drove down from Oakland for the afternoon to hang out with us at the party. Francis has grown quite a bit since we last saw her, but Duncan was the big surprise: he was only a few weeks old the only time I've met him. He's 11 months now, a good crawler, and quite a character.
