Open Space Technology is a process for creating effective conferences, meetings, and other kinds of confabulations. It cuts out a lot of the bullshit and lets people decide what they want to talk about, and gets them talking about it.
I've participated in several different Open Space events, and I hope at some point to facilitate and create my own.
